Stories From Our Community
My children could not walk to school because of jiggers. The outreach team came to our village, treated them, gave them shoes, and taught us how to keep our home clean. Today my children are healthy and in school every day.
I had lost everything to alcohol. The recovery group at St Andrews gave me a community that believed in me when I could not believe in myself. Two years sober now, and I am rebuilding my family and my business.
Our savings group started with nothing. Today I have a small business selling produce from my kitchen garden. I can pay school fees for my children without borrowing. This programme changed how I see myself.
