Who We Are
A faith-rooted, community-driven organisation working at the intersection of health, education, and sustainable development in Kenya.
From a small mission to a multi-service community movement
St Andrews Mission Center began as a humble response to the suffering seen in rural Kenyan communities — children unable to walk to school because of jigger infestations, families torn apart by alcohol dependency, and households trapped in cycles of poverty with no way out.
What started with a single health outreach has grown into a comprehensive, six-pillar organisation that addresses the interconnected nature of poverty and vulnerability. We recognised early that treating jiggers without addressing sanitation, education without addressing hunger, or addiction without addressing economic opportunity would only treat symptoms, not root causes.
Today, we serve thousands of individuals across our programme areas, guided by Christian values of love, dignity, and service, and driven by the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, educated, and self-reliant life.
